Heideveld Secondary School is seeking donations to provide breakfast for 210 matric learners during their final exams.

Education Minister Siviwe Gwarube also pleaded with communities not to protest during matric exams, which start on Monday.

The stage is set for 882 336 candidates across South Africa to write the 2024 matric examinations, which kick off this Monday.

Ramaphosa urged the 2024 matrics to surpass the achievements of those who have gone before them by acing their exams.
