Untold stories of the CPP-NPA

“Tigaon 1969” (Ateneo de Manila University Press, 2023) by Soliman M. Santos Jr. focuses on stories that led to the formation of the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army in the Bicol region. The author is a retired judge of the Regional Trial Court of Naga City. As a longtime human rights lawyer, he developed familiarity with the Communist front in the Philippines.
