Priscilla Meirelles denies 'mutual agreement' on 'separation' with John Estrada

Priscilla Meirelles responded to her husband John Estrada's statement saying they have mutually agreed to take on a break in their relationship. In an Instagram Story earlier, the 51-year-old actor admitted he and his beauty queen wife “have mutually agreed to take a break for quite some time now.” He wrote, “Priscilla and I have mutually agreed to take a break for quite some time now. There's more to the story but the last thing I want to do is to hurt people I love. I want to make it clear that I am not in a relationship with Lily Hallman or any other woman for that matter. I just met her in Boracay. I had a short break from work and felt the need for a breather. This is a private family matter that's why I ask for privacy as we deal with this. Thank you.” This statement came after Priscilla wrote in a now-deleted comment on her husband's post: "Looking very divorced, Mr. Estrada @ Lily Hallman_.” However, Miss Earth 2004 denied this statement and said, “I am deeply shocked and disheartened by Mr. Estrada's recent public statement.” Priscilla further wrote in her statement that was posted on Instagram Story, “To clarify, there was never any mutual agreement regarding our separation. We were married when I left the Philippines and remain married as of this time. While there is indeed more to this story, it is not appropriate to delve into those details. Regardless of what those may be, however, it won't change the course of faith.” In the latter part of her statement, Priscilla said, “I appreciate your constant support, kindness, and love during this difficult time. I trust that, in due course, all will be resolved appropriately. Thank you for your understanding.” In a previous interview on Fast Talk With Boy Abunda in May 2024, the celebrity mom admitted that she and John faced marital woes last year. “Of course, we're married pa rin and we're laughing yesterday and we're having a great time. But I'm not gonna take anything that I already took up to this point. So, alam niya nasa limit na ko. So, whatever happens from this point on it's on him. I've done my part.” She also mentioned that during the challenging time in their marriage, John told her, "I'm with you, I'm here for the long haul, I'll do my best."
