Andrea Tetangco and Viktor open Manila Fashion Week

The Manila Fashion Week, formerly known as the BYS Fashion Week, officially kicked off its first edition on October 16, Thursday. The four-day fashion event is held at SM Aura Premier in Taguig City, with two shows happening each day at the Samsung Hall and Fashion Tent, which was solely built for the Manila Fashion Week. The first day of the local fashion week was marked with the launch of the stunning collections of Andrea Tetangco and Viktor. Manila Fashion Week founder and creator John Lozano formally opened the event with a short remark. “I've been doing this speech for the past three years for BYS Fashion Week, and this year feels a little bit different. It actually feels better because now we can proudly say that we have a fashion week that we can all be proud of,” John said. Here's a look at the first day of Manila Fashion Week:
