Mountain roads said dangerous after heavy rains

Police warned drivers on Sunday afternoon that roads in the mountains had become treacherous following heavy rains. Rocks and soil had fallen onto them making them slippery and hazardous, police said. The roads affected are: Troodos-Prodromos Traoodos- Karvounas Platres-Trooditissa Pachyammos-Pyrgos Gerakies-Kambos Orkonta-Kalopanayiotis Police warned drivers to drive with care.
