Fijian will pay more for electricity from next year. The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission made the announcement for a 24.2 percent increase this morning. Chief Executive Senikavika Jiuta states during the announcement that the increase was reached after considering all factors and rejecting a 37 percent proposal by Energy Fiji Limited. More to follow.
