The assault happened in the early hours of Sunday on Cathal Brugha Street and O’Connell Street.

The incident, according to gardaí, happened in Coles Lane near Henry Street in Dublin 1 at approximately 11:30pm.

Two men (20s) and (30s) were arrested and are being detained
