Supreme Court refuses to review 'no' to same-sex marriage

The Supreme Court of India has dismissed pleas for legalising same-sex marriages for the second time, with a five-judge bench unanimously rejecting review petitions by LGBTQ+ community members. The court upheld its October 2023 judgment, maintaining same-sex marriage will remain illegal without new legislation, and denied adoption rights for queer couples.
