Farah on Deepika's bad diction during 'Om Shanti Om'

Deepika Padukone, a beloved actress in Bollywood, has captivated fans with her performances from her debut in 'Om Shanti Om' to her latest release 'Fighter'. Known for her stunning looks, bold personality, and charisma, Deepika has consistently mesmerized audiences. Despite being an outsider to the film industry, she made a remarkable debut in 2007 with 'Om Shanti Om' alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Farah Khan, in an interview with Komal Nahta, revealed she discovered Deepika through a Fanta commercial and was immediately convinced of her potential as an actress. Farah noted Deepika’s resemblance to Hema Malini and felt she possessed the charisma needed for the role. However, Farah also mentioned that Deepika initially struggled with proper diction and dialogue delivery, leading to her voice being dubbed by another actress. Despite these challenges, Deepika’s expressions and on-screen presence shone through.
