Canada minister on 'rescue Afghan Sikhs first' row: 'Because of my turban'

Under fire for allegedly prioritizing Afghan Sikhs during the Canada government's rescue operation in Kabul, minister Harjit Sajjan said he did not order it, he only relayed information provided by an NGO to the armed forces. The minister said there were no preferences given to Afghan Sikhs during the rescue operation as the aim was to get as many people out of Kabul as possible but he is facing flak only because he is a Sikh.
