Team India World Cup Home Tour Live Udates: Breakfast With PM Modi

After ruling the ICC T-20 World Cup 2024 and successfully lifting the Trophy, Team India has returned to the home soil with bright smiling faces. Rohit Sharma & co. will meet Narendra Modi in the Morning on Thursday. Followed by that the team will fly to Mumbai for a BCCI felicitation and a trophy parade. Here are all the live updates from the home tour: PM Modi's message for Team India After he met the T20 World Cup-winning Indian cricket team at his residence on Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted a congratulatory message for the Indian team on his social media handles.  "Today, 140 crore countrymen are feeling pride at your performance. In the sporting world, you've won a World Cup. But in every village, town and every street of India, you have won countless hearts. This tournament will be remembered for a special reason as well. You played against so many teams from so many countries but you went unbeaten to win the title. That's not a small achievement," Modi said in a video posted on his social media handles.    Team India players reach airport In Mumbai, the Indian cricket team will have a heavy day. The team is to be feted by the Prime Minister and hosted for a meal. The team is carrying the T20 World Cup trophy along for the visit.  Specially made cake for Team India To celebrate the Indian cricket team's triumph, the executive chef at ITC Maurya, Chef Shivneet Pahoja has made a special cake. Speaking to ANI, Pahoja said, “The cake is in the colour of the Team’s jersey. Its highlight is this trophy, it may look like an actual trophy but this is made out of chocolate…This is our welcome to the winning team…We have arranged the breakfast at the special venue.” Jay Shah present to invite the Team The Indian cricket team landed in New Delhi to wild celebrations from fans. BCCI secretary Jay Shah was at hand to welcome Rohit Sharma and Co, handoing a bouquet to the T20 World Cup-winning team's captain Rohit Sharma.
