Amidst this, Aishwarya’s mother-in-law, Jaya Bachchan, has publicly supported her. On a past episode of Koffee With Karan, Jaya praised Aishwarya, saying that Amitabh Bachchan’s eyes light up when he sees her, likening it to seeing their daughter Shweta. Jaya admired Aishwarya’s ability to seamlessly integrate into the family, describing her as strong, dignified, and someone who prefers staying in the background and listening attentively. In another interview with Rediff, Jaya mentioned that she and Aishwarya always address disagreements openly, appreciating Aishwarya’s straightforwardness and lack of behind-the-scenes drama. Abhishek and Aishwarya, who share a daughter, Aaradhya, are both focused on their careers, with Abhishek working on King and Aishwarya recently appearing in Ponniyin Selvan: II.
