At the trailer launch of Angry Young Man, Salman Khan praised Salim-Javed, highlighting their unique approach to storytelling. He noted, "A lot of writers write, but Salim-Javed thought deeply. They drew from their life experiences and observations, bringing real depth to their work. Unlike others who draw from cinema itself, my father and Javed Saab are true men who remain authentic." The launch event was attended by notable figures, including Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, Arbaaz Khan, and Reema Kagti, underscoring the duo's enduring impact and the excitement surrounding the documentary.
