AIIMS Faculty Urges Revamp of Wellness and Extracurricular Facilities Amid Rising Student Mental Health Concerns

The Faculty Association of AIIMS (FAIMS), Delhi, has requested the institute’s director to improve the Student Wellness Centre and on-campus extracurricular facilities to better support the mental health of students. This appeal follows a survey revealing high rates of mental health issues among medical students, highlighting the need for enhanced wellbeing resources and community engagement opportunities.
