Kangana Ranaut Reveals She Rejected Two Film Offers From Salman Khan

Kangana Ranaut has always been vocal about the flaws of Bollywood and Nepotism, and has been critical of it. Recently, in an interview she revealed that she rejected two Salman Khan films. In the interview, Kangana revealed that she was offered the roles in Sultan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, but she rejected them and then they went on to Anushka Sharma and Kareena Kapoor respectively. She said, “Salman offered me a role in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, I was like ‘Yeh kya role diya hai?’  He then approached me for Sultan. I didn’t take that up. He was like ‘What more do I offer to you now?'” She also revealed that despite rejecting these roles, Salman has always been kind to her, and also talked about the bond she shares with him. “Salman is so kind. He keeps talking to me. He is even excited to watch Emergency. We have a common friend, he sent him and was like ‘you go see what film she has made’. He called me and said, ‘It’s a nice film’. I was like, ‘So you have the news, but you haven’t watched it yourself.’ This is the kind of bonding we share”. Earlier, at the trailer launch of her film ‘Emergency’, she expressed her desire to direct all three Khans. “I would love to produce and direct a film with all three Khans. And I would also love to show the talented side of theirs, wherein they can act, and also look good. And they can also do something, which is very significant to the society. I would like to make a film like that. Because I think they are all very talented.” After being elected as the member of Parliament from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, Kangana Ranaut is all set to make a comeback in acting in June through her film, ‘Emergency’. This historical and political drama will have Kangana playing the role of the former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi.
