Bengaluru techie couple loses Rs 1.53 crore in trading scam

A Bengaluru couple recovered Rs 1.4 crore out of the Rs 1.53 crore lost in an online trading scam, thanks to swift action by the East Division Cybercrime Police. The scammers, operating from the UK, had used mule accounts in North India to execute the fraud. Police investigation and coordination with banks were instrumental in recovering the funds.
