Kumar Sanu Opens Up on Not Getting Work in The Hindi Film Industry

Kumar Sanu is one of the most popular and talented playback singers of the 90s. He has sung many popular songs in hit and been the voice of many actors Bollywood films and earned the title, ‘Melody King of Bollywood’. Recently, in conversation with a media portal, Kumar Sanu opened up on not getting work in the industry. He said, “Everybody respects me in the industry. My journey so far has been very good, but the biggest factor is that everyone respects me, they love me, listen to my songs as well. I don't know why they are not using my voice for more songs in Hindi films. When they are showing so much love when I am in front of them, I don't know if it is real or not. Whatever it may be, they definitely give respect for sure." He further added, “If I can sing, why don't they make me sing. Why don't they think of it. I am doing shows, I have a fan following. Everywhere I go I see shows are being sold out. Public demand hai. I am also bringing another set of live shows in October and November this year. If the industry folks understand, then all is well, if not, it's their misfortune." Earlier, while talking to another media portal, Kumar Sanu discussed the change in the industry and how he deals with hard times. “Everyone sees success and downfalls and then comebacks. I personally do not feel that I have seen a drastic fall. Even when I get a few songs today, I switch on the radio, and I get to hear my songs. I hear my songs everywhere I go. I think every industry sees a change every decade and that will keep happening. One has to adapt to changing times and go with the flow.” He added, “When you have sung so many songs, achieved so much, you cannot complain. I think I am a very positive person. I have a lot of positivity. I never for a minute go through self-doubt or feel dejected. I live my life with a smile.” While talking about the music industry today, Kumar Sanu said, “Even the compositions have changed. Today, there is more focus on adaptations than the original. However, I must add that whatever little that is being created is remarkable. But very few.” Kumar Sanu recently performed in sold-out shows in the USA and Canada. He sang 'Sweekar Kar Lena' in Manav Kaul’s film Tribhuvan Mishra CA Topper. Kumar Sanu is known for popular 90s songs such as Dheere Dheere, Meri Mehbooba, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha and many more.
