Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha Review: Ajay Devgn & Tabu Are Back As a Pair Once Again But This Time In A Complicated Version

Auron mai kaha dum tha has literally 0 hype at the theatre and I watched it with a very minimal expectation but the movie however still disappointed. With a cast like Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Jimmy Shergil and director Neeraj Pandey who directed movies like A Wednesday, MS Dhoni, Special 26, the movie let me down. Talking about the story, it is a very simple and very slow plus the much hyped climax throughout the film again, lets the audience down. The screenplay of the movie is too slow while we feel zero connection with the characters in the movie. The story of the movie is such that it could have easily ended in 1 hour 30 minutes. Still the movie has been stretched for 2 hours 25 minutes, which makes it a very boring Watch.  While I was watching the movie, it really felt like watching some 80s or 90s kind of a romantic movie because of the screenplay and the dialogues and it may be the reason why young minds like me won’t connect to this movie. But at the same time, I also feel that the elder audience wouldn’t connect to this movie because this kind of a cinema doesn’t work now. Although there is a twist in the movie, but if you’re smart enough, you will easily sense the twist, and if you do, there will be no other motive left for you to continue watching the movie. Overall, the movie has noting interesting to offer. Only positives are Shantanu Maheshwari, Man literally nailed his role and a few comic moments that landed well. Except for that the movie disappoints and is a total skip.  Rating- 1.5/5
