Offered To Launch Aryan Khan As An Actor Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan, is preparing for his debut as a director. Amid speculation that he might discuss future acting roles with his father following the release of his show Stardom, a report by Mid-day suggests that several prominent Bollywood directors and producers are eager to work with the star kid. Aryan, the eldest child of Shah Rukh and his wife Gauri Khan, has impressed those who've met him, with many believing he has the potential to follow in his father's footsteps and become "the next big thing." Filmmakers close to Shah Rukh, such as Aditya Chopra, Karan Johar, and Farah Khan, have reportedly offered to direct Aryan’s debut. Additionally, director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has approached the Khan family with an "epic subject." However, the report notes that Aryan is currently fully focused on his directorial debut and will only consider acting discussions with his father once his web series is complete. Insiders reveal that Aryan has always leaned towards filmmaking, a sentiment Shah Rukh expressed during the release of Zero in 2018. Aryan's first directorial project, Stardom, is a web series that delves into the lives and challenges of Bollywood stars. The show’s cinematographer, Jay Oza, mentioned in a May interview with Film Companion that the series will feature comedic elements, contrasting with darker projects like Raman Raghav 2.0. He shared that Aryan prefers a brighter tone, which Oza has adapted to suit the director's vision.  In April, Hindustan Times reported that actor Mona Singh will play a significant role in the series. A source revealed that the project offers her a unique and different role, and she is enjoying her experience working with Aryan on set.
