Despite the criticism surrounding his film choices, Akshay remains unfazed and has now announced his next project. On his birthday, he revealed that he will be reuniting with director Priyadarshan after 14 years for a film titled Bhoot Bangla. Sharing a motion poster of the film, Akshay expressed his excitement, showing a glimpse of the horror-comedy. In the poster, Akshay is seen sipping milk with a black cat perched on his shoulder. He also posted on social media, thanking fans for their birthday wishes and stating, "I’m beyond excited to join forces with Priyadarshan again after 14 years.
