Can think of increasing speed limit if road discipline improves: Transport secy

Union road transport secretary Anurag Jain has declared that the government will not increase the maximum speed limit on National Highways from 100 kmph to 120 kmph until there is a notable improvement in road discipline. He also pointed out the need to tackle road accidents and vehicular pollution by phasing out or converting pre-2000 vehicles.
