Riteish Deshmukh On Bigg Boss Marathi Seventeen years after Heyy Baby, Fardeen Khan and Riteish Deshmukh have reunited for Visfot, a film far removed from comedy. It centers on two individuals from different socio-economic backgrounds whose lives collide on a fateful day. In an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Fardeen shared his thoughts, saying, "I know Riteish very well. There’s a lot of comfort, trust, and respect between us. With our combined experience, it’s easier for us to slip into our characters in any story." Visfot also allowed Fardeen to see a different side of Riteish. “Riteish is naturally very funny. But recently, while promoting Khel Khel Mein on Bigg Boss Marathi with him, I saw a surprising new side when he scolded a participant (laughs). I had never seen that before. Visfot also brings out another facet of his personality,” Fardeen revealed. Praising Riteish's performance in Visfot, Fardeen said, “He’s done an incredible job. The depth and honesty with which he portrayed the emotions are brilliant. His role is complex, and he has delivered it masterfully. It will stand out as one of his best performances.” The duo will soon reunite for the comedy Housefull 5. Fardeen, who returned to Bollywood this year after a 14-year hiatus with Heeramandi, expressed his excitement about the comeback. “I feel lucky to return at a time when diverse, relevant, and sophisticated content is being made. These back-to-back releases weren’t planned by me. I wish I had that control (laughs)! But it all worked out for the best. Sometimes you just have to surrender to the process and focus on what you can control.” Fardeen views his break as a positive, enabling him to resume acting without any baggage. He explained, “After 12 years away, I came back without carrying too much baggage. I’m older now and returned with the mindset of a newcomer. I wasn’t sure what roles I would be offered, but I chose ones where I felt I could contribute to the story.” When asked if he’s more open to risks now, Fardeen said, “In Heeramandi, I knew I had nine scenes from the start. In Khel Khel Mein, I had a supporting role, and in Visfot, I’m a parallel lead with Riteish. I’m here to act and take on interesting projects. If a significant role comes along, I’ll take it. If not, I’ll keep doing what I love—acting and being part of the storytelling process. I’m in a sweet spot.”
