During a recent Q&A on Instagram, Telugu actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu responded to a fan’s comment about her weight, sharing a powerful message against body-shaming. She hosted the session during Citadel Honey Bunny’s premiere week. She replied with a video message saying, " Another weight comment. I saw an entire thread about my weight. If you guys must know, I am on a strict anti-inflammatory diet which is required for my condition, which prevents me from putting on weight, keeps in a certain weight bracket and keeps me in a sweet spot with my condition (myositis). Stop judging people. Let them be, live and let live. Please guys, it's 2024." Last October, Samantha shared her struggle with myositis, an autoimmune condition where the immune system attacks the muscles, causing severe pain and weakness. This makes daily activities very challenging. She was reportedly receiving immunity-boosting treatments in Hyderabad and exploring Ayurvedic remedies for her condition.
