No engineering takers in regional languages: Can Hindi medical succeed?

Chhattisgarh's recent announcement to introduce Hindi-medium medical education from 2024-25 raises questions about its potential success, especially after engineering courses in regional languages failed to attract students. Medical professionals argue that teaching in Hindi may limit students' future prospects in research and higher education, where English remains the dominant language.
