WINNER’s Mino, who is set to complete his military service today, is facing allegations of irregular attendance and possible manipulation of his service records. According to reports from Dispatch, Mino, serving as a social service worker at the Mapo Resident Convenience Facility, allegedly failed to show up for work on multiple occasions. Dispatch claimed to have visited the facility more than ten times between November and December but never saw Mino at work. Worker A stated, “I rarely saw Mino come to work. He never showed up at 9, but the facility adjusted his work time to 10.” Another worker alleged, “He would come in around 10:30 or 11 AM, play games for about 20-30 minutes, and then leave.” Further claims suggest that Mino used annual or sick leave frequently and avoided certain tasks, like answering calls or handling administrative notices, due to his social phobia. Manager L, who oversaw Mino’s attendance, denied any wrongdoing, stating, “I saw him once a day. I checked to see if he came to work and received his signature.” However, L admitted that attendance was recorded manually, raising concerns about potential manipulation. Mino’s manager revealed that he has been receiving treatment for panic disorder and bipolar disorder. Despite being advised to seek early discharge, Mino reportedly insisted on completing his service to protect his career. YG Entertainment also addressed the claims, stating, “He is working his military duty normally.” As Mino’s discharge approaches, questions about his service remain unanswered, fueling public debate over fairness in alternative military service.
