Akshay admits to being ‘More Mindful’ of film choices

Akshay Kumar has had a notable Bollywood career since his debut in 1991, experiencing both highs and lows. Recently, several of his films, including Sarfira, underperformed at the box office. However, fans are hopeful for his next film, 'Khel Khel Mein', directed by Mudassar Aziz. In a Forbes India interview, Akshay discussed changing audience preferences and emphasized the importance of selecting entertaining and unique projects that resonate with current times. He highlighted his discipline and work ethic as his greatest strengths, adhering to a strict schedule for sleeping, eating, and working, and staying fit both physically and mentally. On the professional front, Sarfira, a Hindi remake of the Tamil film Soorarai Pottru, features Akshay as Vir Mhatre, who dreams of starting a low-cost airline. Akshay's upcoming projects include 'Khel Khel Mein', releasing on August 15, and 'Jolly LLB 3', directed by Subhash Kapoor, alongside Arshad Warsi and Huma Qureshi.
