'Flight from hell': Plane diverts after mid-flight lightning strike

A British Airways flight from Stuttgart to Heathrow was struck by lightning, forcing it to divert to Gatwick Airport. Despite the scare, passengers praised the crew for their handling of the situation. Another British Airways flight from Lisbon to London was also struck by lightning but landed safely. Both incidents were attributed to severe weather.
