The Delhi High Court has stayed the Delhi government’s February 1 notification directing private unaided schools to form School-Level Fee Regulation Committees and submit proposed fee structures for the next three academic years. The court ordered that the notification will remain in abeyance until final disposal of the petitions. For the 2026–27 academic year, schools may continue charging existing fees, subject to the outcome of the case. The matter will be heard next on March 12, 2026.
