Aduana Stars General Manager, Takyi Arhin, has expressed sympathy for former Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kwesi Nyantakyi, stating that the circumstances leading to his downfall could have happened to anyone.Nyantakyi was implicated in the 'Number 12' exposé by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, where he was filmed engaging in unethical dealings.As a result, the former CAF 1st Vice President faced charges of conspiracy to commit fraud and corruption. However, Ghana’s High Court recently discharged him after prosecutors failed to present Anas as a witness.Speaking on the matter, Arhin acknowledged the impact of the exposé on Ghanaian football while also showing understanding toward Nyantakyi’s situation."We are thieves but when you are not caught, you are not a thief. What happened to Kwesi would have happened to anybody," he told Citi Sports.He further criticized how people react when one of their own faces trouble."At when one of us is in trouble, we try to make mountains out of mould hill.
