In the aftermath of the tragic death of Asante Kotoko supporter Francis "Pooley" Frimpong, tensions remain high in Ghanaian football.Pooley was fatally stabbed during Kotoko's Premier League match against Nsoatreman FC in Nsoatre.On Sunday, as fans gathered in Kumasi for a vigil honoring Pooley, Bofoakwa Tano faced Wamanafo Mighty Royals in a Division One League match. The game was marred by violent incidents, prompting Bofoakwa Tano's Public Relations Officer, Romeo Ampabeng, to express his concerns."On Sunday was exactly one week that unfortunate incident happened in Nsoatre. What I saw in Wamanafo I can say on authority that we as supporters we are not ready to change. And I don't think we will change because in the wake of events around Pooley I thought supporters will be a bit cautious a little.
