Betty Mensah appointed Chairperson of Black Queens B Management Committee

The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has appointed Hon. Betty Mensah as Chairperson of the Black Queens B Management Committee, tasked with strengthening the leadership and administration of Ghana’s home-based senior women’s national team.Hon. Mensah, a former Member of Parliament for Afram Plains North, currently serves as Special Aide to the Minister of Sports and Recreation. She is widely recognised for her contributions to public service, youth development, and advocacy for women in sports and leadership.She will be assisted by Mrs. Hilary Boaten, former Chairperson of the Women’s League Committee, who assumes the role of Vice Chairperson. Other members of the committee include Prosper A. Anenyah (Epiphany Warriors), George Wiredu (Sea Sharks), and Eben Oppong, all bringing valuable expertise to the team.The committee will oversee planning, welfare, and coordination of activities for the Black Queens B as they prepare for upcoming international engagements.The GFA believes Hon. Betty Mensah’s appointment reflects its commitment to diversity and inclusion in football governance and is confident her leadership will provide renewed focus to help the team achieve success at both continental and global levels.
