Dickson Kyere-Duah appointed Chairman of GFA Football Stakeholders Committee

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has named Hon. Dickson Kyere-Duah, Member of Parliament for Berekum West, as Chairman of the Football Stakeholders Committee.A former sports consultant, lecturer, and journalist, Hon. Kyere-Duah is expected to draw on his vast experience to strengthen collaboration within the football fraternity.He will be supported by Fred Pappoe, former GFA Vice President and a long-serving Black Stars Management Committee member, who takes up the role of Vice Chairman.Other members of the committee include Hon. Vincent Sowah Odotei, Dr. Francis Bediako, John Ansah (GHALCA Chairman), Dr. Adams Baba, and former Black Stars winger Haminu Dramani. Together, the team brings expertise spanning administration, medicine, governance, and on-field experience.The Football Stakeholders Committee will serve as an advisory body to the GFA Executive Council, ensuring technical and structural cohesion in the game. Its core mandate includes fostering strong relationships between the association and stakeholders such as clubs, players, GHALCA, regional associations, schools, government, media, and health agencies.By coordinating engagement forums, promoting dialogue, and publishing outcomes, the committee aims to build transparency and trust. The GFA sees this appointment as a major step toward inclusivity and sustainable growth for Ghana football.
