Frimpong Manso optimistic Black Starlets will reach U17 AFCON

Former Ghana U17 coach Frimpong Manso says he is convinced the Black Starlets have what it takes to qualify for the next Africa U17 Cup of Nations as they prepare for the 2025 WAFU B U17 Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire.Manso, who came close to leading the side to the regional event before club commitments intervened, believes the squad’s quality and mindset give them a real chance of advancing.“I’m very sure, I’m very confident that they can get to the next stage, which is the AFCON. The boys are very talented, and for me, I don’t think we will falter this time,” he told Joy Sports.The tournament doubles as the qualification route for the U17 AFCON, with the Black Starlets holding their second training session on Thursday.Manso stressed the players’ willingness to learn will be decisive.“I’m very sure they will go through.
