President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, has donated to the final funeral rites of the late Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III, on Thursday. At the solemn event in Kumasi, Okraku presented GH₵50,000, bottles of schnapps, and assorted drinks to support the ceremony, which has drawn dignitaries, traditional leaders, and well-wishers from across the country. His contribution underscores the GFA’s respect for the Ashanti Kingdom and its cultural heritage.The late Asantehemaa, who passed away earlier this year, played a key role in the Ashanti traditional setup, and her funeral is being observed with customary grandeur.
