The head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo, has stressed that his team must remain focused despite going top of Group I in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.The coach insists that although Ghana has opened a five-point gap at the top of the group, the job is not done for his team.“We are in a good position but this is also a danger and I’m already thinking about keeping our heads focused. The job is really not done. Maybe if Comoros win, we will just be three points ahead of them and it is still a long way to go. We have to focus,” coach Otto Addo said in his post-match interview after Ghana defeated Madagascar on Monday.Before the emphatic 3-0 win against Madagascar, the Black Stars of Ghana also hammered Chad 5-0.The two wins in the March international break have improved Ghana’s chance of qualifying for next year’s World Cup.As stressed by coach Otto Addo, the Black Stars must stay focused and work hard for all available points in the rest of the matches.
