The striker reignited Bochum’s hopes with a composed finish in the 48th minute, assisted by Gerrit Holtmann. He struck again in the 56th minute, pouncing on a delivery from Moritz Broschinski to reduce the deficit further. The comeback was complete when Boadu calmly converted a penalty in the 61st minute, completing his hat-trick in just 13 thrilling minutes.Despite Leipzig’s 55% possession and superior head-to-head record, Bochum’s resilience shone through, with a strong crowd roaring their approval. Boadu now has five Bundesliga goals in eight games this season, cementing his importance to Bochum.
