VfL Bochum battled back from a three-goal deficit to secure a 3-3 draw against RB Leipzig in a pulsating Bundesliga Round 18 clash at Vonovia Ruhrstadion.Dutch-Ghanaian striker Myron Boadu was the hero, netting a sensational hat-trick to rescue a point for the hosts.Leipzig dominated the first half, taking an early lead through Willi Orbán in the 10th minute. Antonio Nusa doubled the advantage three minutes later with a sublime strike from distance. Christoph Baumgartner’s close-range finish in the 21st minute left Bochum trailing 3-0 at halftime.However, Boadu had other plans. The striker reignited Bochum’s hopes with a composed finish in the 48th minute, assisted by Gerrit Holtmann. He struck again in the 56th minute, pouncing on a delivery from Moritz Broschinski to reduce the deficit further. The comeback was complete when Boadu calmly converted a penalty in the 61st minute, completing his hat-trick in just 13 thrilling minutes.Despite Leipzig’s 55% possession and superior head-to-head record, Bochum’s resilience shone through, with a strong crowd roaring their approval. Boadu now has five Bundesliga goals in eight games this season, cementing his importance to Bochum.
