President John Mahama has nominated Kofi Adams, Member of Parliament for Buem Constituency, as the new Minister of Sports and Recreation.The nomination was part of the third batch of Ministerial appointments submitted for parliamentary approval.Adams, who will undergo vetting before officially assuming office, replaces Mustafa Ussif, who served as Sports Minister under the previous administration of President Nana Akufo-Addo.At 49, Adams holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology with a focus on the Epidemiology of Parasitic Diseases.
