Ghana defender Nicholas Opoku sees red in Kasimpasa big loss

Ghana international defender Nicholas Opoku was sent off in the Turkish Super Lig on Monday evening as his side Kasimpasa were mauled by Goztepe SK.Opoku received two yellow cards within nine minutes to get the marching orders, which saw Kasimpasa suffer a humiliating 5-0 loss at Gursel Aksel Stadium.The Black Stars player was cautioned initially in the 62nd minute. He got the second caution, which was followed by a red card in the 71st minute.Slovenian midfielder David Tijjanic got the opener for Goztepe just seven minutes into the match. Juan Santos extended the lead a few minutes after the break.Brazilian forward Romulo increased the advantage for the hosts in the 78th minute.Brazilian midfielder Victor Hugo got his name on the scoresheet before Ismail Koybasi rounded off the victory in additional time.Opoku signed for Kasimpasa in the summer transfer after leaving French club Amiens SC. He has made 15 appearances in the Turkish Super Lig this season.
