Nations FC announce signing of defender Raymond Oko Grippman
Nations FC have completed the signing of defender Raymond Oko Grippman ahead of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season. The Abrankese-based club signed the centre-back from relegated Great Olympics as they strengthen their squad for the upcoming campaign."We are pleased to announce the signing of experienced defender Raymond Oko Grippman from Accra Great Olympics," wrote the club, confirming the completion of the move.Grippman, 27, has enormous experience playing in the domestic topflight league, having starred for Olympics since joining the club from Young Wise in 2019.The versatile defender, who can also play as a right-back and a left-back, has made 80 appearances in the Ghana Premier League, scoring four times for the capital-based club before moving to Kumasi.Nations FC took part in the Nsenkyire Cup as part of preparations for the new season, facing FA Cup winner Nsoatreman FC, Ghana Premier League champions FC Samartex and Legon Cities.The Kuamsi-based club will begin their season with a home game against Bechem United.
