GFA Executive Council meets in Prampram

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is holding its Executive Council meeting Thursday at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.This marks the first time the GFA’s top decision-making body has convened at this venue under President Kurt Okraku's leadership.The 12-member Executive Council is set to make critical decisions concerning football governance, audit, and compliance.They will review ongoing policies and initiatives designed to foster the development and growth of football in Ghana.In addition to their deliberations, the Executive Council members will also attend the final of the 2024 KGL Foundation Inter-Regional U17 Colts Championship.The match will feature the Eastern Region going head-to-head with the Western Region and is scheduled to kick off at 14:00 GMT (2 PM).The championship, launched in 2021, has become a key platform for discovering and nurturing young football talent.Many players from the tournament have gone on to join Premier and Division One League clubs, highlighting the competition's role in shaping Ghana’s football future.The final will be broadcast live on the GFA's official Facebook page and Max TV, allowing fans to follow the action and witness the talent emerging from this prestigious tournament.
