Kotoko coach Prosper Ogum says Medeama rivalry will boost players

Kotoko boss Prosper Narteh Ogum is optimistic that the team’s deep-rooted rivalry with Medeama SC will provide a significant boost as they prepare for their upcoming friendly match.The game, scheduled for Friday, August 16, 2024, will serve as the inauguration of the new T and A Stadium.The clash against Medeama SC is not just a ceremonial occasion but also a critical test for Kotoko, who are looking to bounce back after a disappointing sixth-place finish in the previous Ghana Premier League season.The team will also travel to Washington DC for an international friendly against DC United following the local match.“We’ve assembled a different team with almost all our key targets now in place,” Ogum said. “This friendly is a huge opportunity for us to showcase our preparations.
