Former Asante Kotoko player and General Manager, Samuel Opoku Nti, has voiced strong confidence in the club’s prospects for the upcoming Ghana Premier League season, expressing his belief that the team’s recent recruitment could lead them to league triumph.Opoku Nti, who famously scored the goal that secured Kotoko’s last CAF Champions League title in 1983, praised the club’s new signings, stating that their blend of individual talent and teamwork makes them well-positioned for success. “I will be shocked if they (Kotoko) don’t win the league, given the team they have assembled,” he remarked.He emphasised the importance of both individual skill and collective effort, noting that the current squad possesses the maturity and capability to excel without needing constant direction from the coach. “These days, both individual talent and teamwork are crucial.
