Samartex left-back confident of CAF Champions League progress

FC Samartex left-back Isaac Afful has expressed optimism about the team's chances of advancing to the next round of the CAF Champions League.Samartex are favourites to advance in their tie against Cameroon's Victoria United after the Ghanaian champions secured a first-leg win last Sunday.Emmanuel Mamah's header helped secure a 1-0 win away from home and they will be confident of finishing the job in the second leg on August 25 at the Accra Sports Stadium.Afful, speaking after the match in Douala, praised his teammates' dedication and determination.He believes the team's strong desire to achieve success will be instrumental in overcoming challenges and securing progression to the next stage."I am super proud to be part of this generation of players at FC Samartex, whose dedication to their craft is unparalleled," Afful said."The desire to achieve something significant for ourselves is simply incredible, and I am confident that this mentality will propel us to the next stage of the competition."
