"New chapter, new home"- Nicholas Opoku excited after sealing Kasimpasa move

Ghana defender Nicholas Opoku has expressed delight after completing his move to the Turkish Super Lig to join Kasimpasa SK. The 27-year-old signed a two-year deal to join Kasimpasa as a free agent following his departure from French outfit Amiens. Opoku was immediately handed his debut as he started the game against Hatayspor, playing 82 minutes in the 1-1 draw on Monday evening."New chapter, new home, Kasimpasa," he wrote as he began his career in the Turkish topflight league.Opoku impressed on his debut and left the pitch with his side leading 1-0 through a Joelson Fernandes strike.However, the visitors levelled late in injury time after Nuno Da Costa netted in the 91st minute.The Ghanaian centre-back join his teammates for practice this week as Kasimpasa eye a successful campaign in Turkey.Opoku began his career with Ghana Premier League outfit Berekum Chelsea before moving to Tunisia to join Club Africain. He left for Italy to join Udinese before sealing a move to France after just a year in the Serie A.
