Derrick Fordjour: Medeama forward praises Kotoko's squad depth ahead of new season

Medeama winger Derrick Fordjour has expressed confidence in Asante Kotoko's squad depth and quality as the Ghanaian giants prepare for the upcoming 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.Fordjour, who recently featured in Medeama's 2-1 victory over Kotoko in the inaugural match at the newly constructed TnA Stadium, believes the Porcupine Warriors have the potential to make a significant impact in the coming season."Asante Kotoko has a very good team. They will make an impact next season if they maintain the performance they exhibited against us," the 22-year-old winger stated.Kotoko, who finished sixth in the league last season, have undergone significant changes, releasing over 20 players and adding 12 new signings to bolster their squad.Despite last season's challenges, Fordjour remains optimistic about their prospects under the current setup.The new Ghana Premier League season is set to kick off on September 6, 2024, with Asante Kotoko facing Karela United in their opening fixture.
