Right to Dream founder Tom Vernon pleased as project becomes national reference

Tom Vernon, founder of the Right to Dream Academy, has expressed his satisfaction that his initiative is now being recognised as a model for national sports development strategies in Ghana.The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) highlighted the Right to Dream Academy during the launch of their Youth Manifesto last month.The manifesto includes a commitment to integrating sports into classroom activities and developing sports infrastructure, mirroring the successful model established by Right to Dream established 25 years ago.NDC flagbearer John Mahama emphasised the importance of mainstreaming sports development in schools and communities, with a focus on training technical personnel and providing the necessary infrastructure.In response, Tom Vernon took to LinkedIn to share his joy at seeing Right to Dream become a national reference point."Right to Dream has become a reference point for national manifesto strategies for both the NDC and NPP," Vernon wrote.
