We are focused on winning the league, says Medeama board chair Toni Aubynn

Medeama SC board chairman Dr Toni Aubynn says the club is targeting the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League titleAccording to him, the club hopes to represent Ghana once again in continental club championships.Medeama claimed their first title in 2023 and made it to the group stage of the CAF Champions League in their debut appearance."We are focused on winning the league. You cannot enter a competition like this and expect anything less than first place," he said to Graphic Sports."Medeama is no longer a new team in the league; we have matured, having won the league and the FA Cup before."We’ve also represented Ghana in Africa, so winning the league is definitely our goal."He mentioned that the new recruits have integrated well into the team, citing a recent pre-season victory over Asante Kotoko as a sign of their potential.The league will start on September 6 with Medeama facing Accra Lions in their first match at the new TNA Stadium in Tarkwa.
