CAF Confederation Cup: Yaw Preko says he predicted victory before Nsoatreman's win over Elect-Sport

Nsoatreman FC head coach Yaw Preko revealed that he foresaw his team’s victory in the reverse fixture of their CAF Confederation Cup tie against Elect-Sport of Chad.The Ghana FA Cup champions secured a 2-0 win on Sunday in Yaoundé, advancing to the second preliminary round with an impressive 5-0 aggregate score after a dominant 3-0 first-leg win in Accra.Reflecting on the match, Preko expressed his confidence ahead of the game: “After a 3-0 win back home, we wanted to seal the game here. When they said the game was going to be in Cameroon, I knew victory would always be ours because, when you look at the Lion of Cameroon, it's the same as the lion on our shirt; we also have a lion here.”Preko explained his tactical approach, stating, “I told the boys, ‘Let's go in at 0-0 and start the game very well.’ But fortunately, we saw the strategy they employed, so we decided to frustrate them by keeping the ball.”Nsoatreman FC’s triumph sets up a challenging clash against Algerian side Constantine in the second preliminary round, as the Ghana Premier League side aims to reach the group stage of the competition.
