Samuel Boadu cites positive treatment and future ambitions for Berekum Chelsea extension

Former Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu has explained his decision to extend his contract with Berekum Chelsea following a successful short-term stint.Boadu, who joined the club mid-season after the departure of Christopher Ennin, initially signed a short-term deal for the remainder of the 2023/24 campaign.His tenure helped the team secure a third-place finish in the Ghana Premier League."I extended my contract with Chelsea because of how the president, Amofa Jantuah, and CEO, Nana Kwame Nketiah, treated me," Boadu said."The good treatment meted out to me in my short spell motivated me to continue with the club.:Boadu’s new two-year deal reflects the club’s confidence in his ability to deliver further success.Known for his impressive achievements with Hearts of Oak, where he won three trophies including the Ghana Premier League, Boadu hopes to replicate that success with Berekum Chelsea.Before his time at Hearts of Oak, he made a mark at Medeama, demonstrating progress and coming close to winning the league title.
