The Ghana Football Association's Club Licensing Department has released its preliminary decisions on the match venues submitted by Ghana Premier League (GPL) clubs for the upcoming season. These decisions were based on inspections conducted between August 8 and August 21, 2024, focusing on the infrastructure criteria required for licensing.Following the inspection exercises, detailed reports were provided to each club, outlining the necessary actions required to meet the licensing standards.Out of the inspected venues, only four—Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, Nsenkyire Sports Arena, Dun's Park, and the WAFA Park—received full approval for the new season. The remaining venues have been categorized into two groups: those with outstanding issues that need to be addressed and those deemed unsatisfactory.A re-inspection is scheduled for August 30, 2024, for clubs with non-compliant venues. Final decisions on the approval of these match venues will be made following the re-inspection.
